Hunara: Journal of Ancient Iranian Arts and History is an Open Access journal published by Casa Editrice Persiani in Bologna, Italy, and administered by an international Editorial Board. The main objective is to publish articles and special issues of a high academic quality within the field of ancient Iranian arts and history (ca. from the beginning of the 3rd millennium BC to ca. the end of the 7th century AD) and make them accessible to a wide scholarly public.
Statement of Policy
The Editors are interested in original research manuscripts pertaining to ancient Iranian arts and history. In peer review, we consider originality of material and interpretation, clarity of thought, and interest of readers, as well as sources and style.
